du zeigst die wirklichkeit die keiner sehen will wovor alle die augen schließen. ich hasse die menschen die das zu verantworten haben, wie soll man die leute darauf aufmerksam machen? wie dazu bringe es zu verstehen, das so etwas nie wieder geschieht? werde versuchen so vielen wie möglich deine seite, bilder zu zeigen.

Lieber Herr Helnwein, ich habe im Jahre 1981 oder 82 bei einer Austellung im Franz-Josef BHF zum ersten Mal "den dargestellten schrei beim öffnen der eigenen augen" gesehen. Dieses Bild hat mich bis heute oft in meinem geistigen Auge begleitet. Nach sage und schreibe 24 Jahren war auf einmal die Türe offen und ich konnte es wieder sehn. Ein irres wahnsinns Bild. Nothing short of amazing! Disturbing, Beautifull, Pure... but above all absolutly the work of an absolute master. It's very pleasing to see that there are true artists today that muster the pencil and camera like this! =)

ein "armutszeugnis", für das dorotheum wien, kaufte, dieses wunderbare bild von gottfried helnwein 1972, telefonisch am freitag den 10.03.06 im nachverkauf, ich sollte dann am montag den 13.03.06 vorbeikommen und es als mein eigen nennen können. wie gesagt getan, doch dieses bild wurde in der zwischenzeit einfach jemanden anderen verkauft. weg war es, die entäuschung groß, einfach eine frechheit, daß es einem kleinen erdenbürger, verwehrt bleibt, in den genuß eines solchen kleinen kunstwerkes zu kommen. dieses spiegelt nur eines in meinen augen, die gnadenlose realität, die auch wieder kehrt in diesen fazinierenden, fantastischen bildern.
