Although their collecting focuses on the contemporary, both well-known and emerging artists, selected historic pieces show the breadth of their interest and the roots of socially conscious work in the early 20th century.

Day, Marita Dingus, Peter Drake, Marcel Dzama, Richard Glazer-Danay, Leon Golub, Kojo Griffin, William Gropper, Jon Haddock, John King, Francisco Osuna, Jacob Lawrence, Lelooska (Don Smith), Kerry James Marshall, Beverly McIver, Vik Muniz, Takashi Murakami, Justin Novak, Tom Otterness, Faith Ringgold, Larry Rivers, Sebatiao Salgado, Sol 'Sax, Joyce Scott, Travis Somerville, Joe Tilson, Kara Walker and Wanxin Zhang.

A lecture associated with the exhibition will be presented by artist Vik Muniz. Tuesday, February 15, 7:30pm, Neeb Hall. A full color catalogue will be available for this exhibition.
